We replaced x2 ageing 900kW Mitsubishi air-cooled water chillers over two phases.

Klimatec delivered a complete turnkey project for a private client based in Islington in London, which included repositioning of steel work, chilled water pipework modifications and power supplies, as well as a heavy load crane lift which involved additional challenges.

Ainscough’s heavy crane division were used to lift the chillers over 60m in height, which was completed in one weekend. For the crane lift we approached the local council to complete all road closure applications, traffic management plans, bearing load testing and parking suspensions.

Our projects team completed full design analysis of the customers’ specification. Pre and post water sample analysis was managed by ourselves during the project and water treatment of the system completed as required.

The sites incumbent were liaised with to ensure a smooth transition between the old and new technologies.

Significant modifications of the steel work both above and below the chillers was designed and installed as part of the project by ourselves.
