Klimatec achieves ISO 14001 Environmental Management
Klimatec passed both the Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits to become ISO 14001 accredited in January 2022.
The company has successfully demonstrated that, as a business, it is proven to lead the way in environmental efficiency savings and have been recognised by being awarded the rigorous environmental management system standard from the British Assessment Bureau.
Klimatec can now firmly state that it is:
An environmentally friendly company
A company that manages its compliance obligations
Able to win and retain business
Able to reduce its waste output and improve its image
In order to achieve ISO 14001, Klimatec had to go through several stages. The process was led by employee Natasha Capers, based out of the Klimatec Warwick Head Office. Natasha joined in 2018 and oversees Klimatec’s ISO accreditations amongst many other duties.
Natasha was supported by Finance & Administration Director Amy, with assistance from Senior Engineer Bryan, Supervisor Darren and Operations Manager James who helped with the practical site audit in Warwick.
Stage 1 was completed in 2021 and highlighted the next steps Klimatec needed to take to achieve the certification. The auditor revisited in January 2022 for Stage 2 and audited the company’s management systems and processes to see if they met the stringent standard requirements. Klimatec will now be audited annually.
